Annual Function of Govt. Dental college  Commenced

Once again the day in GDC Indore started with a lot of hustle and bustle. The air was filled with excitement after all it was going to be another eventful day. The first competition was sketching and painting. Ranging from charcoal grace to colourful splashes.


Today we wee exposed to the real gems of our college, the faculties also added to the charm of the event.In sketching, the first position was shared byMs. Arti Ahirwar and Ms.Mansi Yadav of 2019 batch. The second postion was taken by Dr Sheetal Singerand Ms. Divya Pandey. The third position was taken by Dr Ashish Verma and Ms.Shivani Rai.


Soon after that the Rangoli Making Competition was organised for faculties and the students. Three themes were highlighted this year-100 years of dentistry, Women safety and World Peace. The halls of college were livened up with the array of beautiful and powerful message behind them. The


Soon the josh was carried out to the grounds the college echoed with cheers. After all it was the cricket semi-finals, 2015 vs 2019. Both the teams were lined up, the sun was glaring but the spirits were high. And soon an epic battle started. There was a wonderful innings played by Mr. Tiger Yadav from 2014 batch who scored 79 runs. With the innings ending at 135/1. The 2019 batch started slowly with scoring only 2 runs in 2 overs but ended the match scoring 94/4.


The match between 2014 and 2018 could not take place due to lack of time available. Table tennis matches took place instead.


After the table tennis matches the volleyball semi-finals between 2016 vs 2017 took place. The match was enthralling with great volleys taking place. The 2016 batch moved forward to the finals.


The informal for the night was a musical event with the younger brother of Shubham Tiwari, Shubh Tiwari taking the mic and entertaining the entire college.


An emotional song was sung by Dr. PitambraSahu who requested the audience to close their eyes, which was followed by a great mimicry by Dr Subahsheni Kumari. Dr Mumeet Shah starting with a sher from Dr RahatIndori.The night was ended by Shubh Tiwari by singing the wonderful song
